Sandy beaches, rolling waves, and picturesque fishing towns are just a part of what makes a stay at Sunset Sands RV Park so very special. Set on Cape Breton Island, in the northern part of Nova Scotia, this region has history and maritime lore to spare. Join us for terrific family activities like fishing, sailing, sand-castle building, boat tours, and more. We're near attractions like Port Hood and the Chestico Museum, where you can see an original Edison gramophone.
From mid-June to mid-September, guests have complimentary use of a pool complex, which has adult and children's salt water pools and a large hot tub.

We offer 55 full-service RV sites at Sunset Sands RV Park, with up to 50 amps of power. All of our sites are padded, and wireless internet access and satellite TV hookups are available at all of our full service lots. We accept any rig at our eastern Canada RV park, and we also have rental RVs available. A full service laundromat and clean bathroom facilities are centrally located in the RV park. We also have tent campsites available
Sunset Sands RV Park is set adjacent to beautiful sandy beaches, so you can spend all the time you want playing in the sand and surf.
When you stay with us at Sunset Sands RV Park on Cape Breton Island, we want you to enjoy a relaxing, peaceful visit. Our staff is ready to go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as it can be. We are a community-run RV park, located in the heart of Port Hood, directly on the beach overlooking Port Hood Island. Since Port Hood boasts the warmest waters in eastern Canada and has five beaches, including two within walking distance of the RV park, this is a terrific place to get away from it all.
Spend your vacation in one of our rental RVs. On site RVs have a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a pull out sofa for extra sleeping, satellite tv and high speed internet. Heated saltwater swimming pool, kiddy pool, hot tub and beach are just a short walk away
