Sand Point Beach Campground  (Five Islands, Nova Scotia)
I moved into the campground and found the man checking me in to be friendly. There is a nice view from 3 sides of my camper. The campground seems clean and well kept. I'm thinking i'm going to like it here.

Five Islands Park Campground  (Five Islands, Nova Scotia)
Went for a day at the beach with a few friends...about 20...and my family and am extremely impressed with this park...we had 3 picnic tables and a large shaded area with a path to the beach...some of us went beach combing when tide was out...and swimming when tide came in..we cooked deep fried turkey and had chili, salads etc...plus alot of sweets...had an enjoyable time feeding the squirrels and just plain sitting back and enjoying the scenery and fresh air and sunshine without any of the hassles other campgrounds in area have...was so nice not having 4 wheelers chasing people and wasn't anyone on a golfcart...after we ate we actually got to sit back and relax...and the good news is we got to look at the islands and watch the tide come in ..all for free instead of the $78.50 it would have cost for that many people at 1 of the other area campgrounds.i would recommend this campground to anyone who wants an enjoyable day at the beach

All Fun RV Park  (Victoria, British Columbia)
Racing is extremely noisy until 11pm, partying goes until 4am. The group site is VERY small for what we paid, washrooms are somewhat rundown/dirty.

Black River Wilderness Park  (Washago, Ontario)
Always have a great time in this peacefull setting.Washrooms are always clean and tidy. People are friendly, both campers and staff. We even have a morning wakeup call in the form of a woodpecker in the mornings, but not too early. The birds seem to know what time is right.

Bow Valley Campground  (Canmore, Alberta)
It was so peaceful in the campgroung. The self registration was AWSOME, you get to pick the campsite that is the right one for you before you have to pay, so if you don't like any of the ones there then you are able to leave and find another one. Bring your own fire wood when going, cause the wood is pretty expensive. Bring your friends or family, and you'll have a great time.

Yogi Bears Jellystone Park Camp-resort  (Niagara Falls, Ontario)
Nice sites, Good pool for the kids, Nice large play ground. They have a shuttle to the falls for $6.00 (cheaper than parking) Fair prices in the store. We had problems with the hose for our BBQ and needed a small tank of propane, the owners sent an employee to the local store to get it for us. He was back 10 min. later and there was no mark up. Very Very nice owners. We are going to stay again !!!

Bissells Hideaway Resort  (Ridgeville, Ontario)
Nice water park, Splash pool very nice, paddle boats a bit misleading, small fill pond, not a lot of shade for overnight sites. also sewer hook-up is small 3" have an adapter for your hose. Overall a nice campsite but beware of being placed near seasonal sites they can be loud.

Killbear Provincial Park  (Nobel, Ontario)
Being that it is reasonably close to the GTA it is a very busy park.esp. on long weekends. I used to come here when I was in my teens because of this. Now I look for more unique and remote parks.

Have been coming here for several years. A nice park. Well run. Close to amenities or a quick run to the grocery store for supplies. Lots of blue berries and a good sand beach area.

Mara Camping and RV  (Mara, British Columbia)
This campground is private, shaded, and located a few metres from a gas station/convenience store. It is exactly 5 minutes drive from Mara Lake Provincial Park, which is a lovely and accessible day-use park, and includes a boat launch. Mara Campground & RV has room for overnight boat storage. It's in a great location for sight-seeing and is a 2 minute drive from Shuswap River. The hosts have a number of lawn games which guests are encouraged to use. There's basketball on the property, and a full-sized tennis court a few moment's walk away. The Starlight Drive-In Theatre is a must-see just 20 minutes away. A great place to enjoy a night or a week!!

Camping Lamoureux  (L'Ange-Gardien, Québec)
This small, quiet campground is located 30 miles from Ottawa, 5 miles from Buckingham on the west bank of the Lièvre River in L'Ange-Gardien. The owner was friendly and the washroom and shower were clean.

Campers City RV Park  (Moncton, New Brunswick)
As a New Brunswicker I was ashamed to have a campground charge for a pet (YES CHARGE for a pet). Two separate couples from the west coast of Canada couldn't believe the only campground they have came across that charged for a cat and our dog.

Riverside Park Campground and Motel  (Niagara Falls, Ontario)
We visited over the Canada day weekend, last year, and enjoyed our time while there. The staff and fellow campers were very friendly and we actually shared campfire cooked meals with those around us. On a windy day, when lighting a fire was a bit of a problem, a fellow camper bought us their electric grill to use instead. However, the campsites were on the small size and thus tents tended to be close to each other and likewise you could hear other campers' conversations. The washrooms were very clean and the showers were nice and warm.

Leisure Time Park and Trailer Sales Inc  (Palgrave, Ontario)
Overall, an ok campground, more suited for a one night/need a place for the night type of stay, than a more longer experience. Not much for kids to do other than 2 small playgrounds and a open field. Avoid the washrooms by the entrance and they were not very clean and in need of a major face lift when we visited (last summer). However the other washrooms were very good, although much further away (we actually drove to them, rather than walk). In fact from our camp location everything was a fair bit away. The other major problem is that this is a long term RV park and thus the mobile homes drawfed the campers by a huge margin. On the plus side, the campsites were quite large and could easily fit 2 family tents. Note, there is a Tim Horton's a 2 minute drive from the campground.

Bon Echo Family Campground  (Cloyne, Ontario)
I had a great time - the place is small and quiet, just the way I want. With some stunning wooded area combined with open sunny areas, you feel like you are in nature, yet its fully services for RVs. Washrooms are clean. The beach and lake is amazing. I'll be back!

Banff/Waterfowl Lake  (Banff, Alberta)
This is a campground at the edge of banff park. It is wonderfully located, near upper and lower waterfowl lake and is a wonderful place to stay is very peaceful. The staff are very friendly. Is good for overnight stays, and mostly gets passerbys or long term campers. Offers wonderful views. It however rains almost everynight. So a awning is mostly a must. No-programs offered even though guides state it has nightly programs. No-showers, however you can bathe in the river. I am a local to the area and go here ever summer since i was a baby. Good for experianced campers and passerthrus. Give it a try. Bring umbrella

Happy Hills Family Campground  (Embro, Ontario)
I really like this place. A group of get together once a year and we have a blast. There is so much to do for kids there. We really like to go on the wagon rides, the pool is very clean, the kids splash pad is always fun for the kids. They don't have a beach but the do have a couple of beach volley ball courts. The have a 9 hole golf course on site as well as a mini golf course. They even have a petting zoo. Book early, they book up fast. Firewood is dry, (meaning indoors) bathrooms are clean most of the time but far from the camp sites. Invest in a port-a-potty. It's a long walk after a few ;). The sites are a bit small and close together but the people are friendly and we always have a good time.
