Trip title:
Ardoch falls
Trip period:
Jul 2009
Trip location:
Ardoch, Ontario
Ardoch Falls. No falls, just a very quiet river with man made barrier to create a small fall. Little current. Swimming is not recommended as the water is shallow and full of logs. Pool was nice, very cold. Washrooms are very small and shower is small but does the job. Garbage bins seem to always be full and no room to put yours. The services people are very nice and welcoming but our site was booked to someone else. Luckily there was another available for us. Sites are small but clean. Poor accomidations compared to a provincial park but the privicy is excellent and no one comlpained about our noise. Overall, nice area with hiking and canoeing. Would not stay for long. Not much else to do.
