Close to Rimouski, Trois-Pistoles and Rivière-du-Loup, KOA Bas St. Laurent Campground is located directly on gorgeous Lake St. Mathieu. Rated 10/10*/10 by GoodSam and 5 stars in Quebec, guests can reserve full hookup 5 services RV sites (water, sour, electricity 30A/50A, cable TV and wifi($)), 2 services tent sites and Deluxe cabins. Motorhomes and big rigs are welcome. Amenities: large heated pool with slide, kiddie pool, splashpad, Jumping Pillow, playground, minigolf, and much more. On site, free private beach for guests who can relax or swim or rent a kayak, pedalboat or paddleboard and take a pontoon cruise. Plenty of events and activities. Directions: At Saint-Simon-de-Rimouski on the 132: turn at the 'Petro Canada' gas station in direction of Saint-Mathieu-de-Rioux. Turn right at the end of the road on the '3eme rang' and then left on 'Chemin du lac Sud' (half a kilometer, at the barn on the left side of the road, right on the corner!). Just follow that road untill you reach the KOA Campground sign (another 3 kilometers).

Campsites information:

230 full hookups 5 services sites (water, sour, electricity 20A/30A/50A, cable TV and wifi($)) are available. Most of them are big rigs friendly (till 90') and 56 are pull-thru. 9 of them are Deluxe patio sites. At least, picnic table and fire ring are on each site. Patio sites include also swing and commercial grade quality table and chairs plus fire experience. Shaded 2 service sites are for tents and tent-trailers. Finally, 2 shaded no services tent sites are directly on lake with a gorgeous view. For ready-to-camp, 4 Deluxe cabins for 4, 6 for 6 and 1 chalet Grand Comfort for 6 are also available. Each has concrete patio with BBQ, swing, table, chairs and fire ring.
