Canada.Com is a website fully dedicated to the Canadian camping industry. It features multiple "easy-to-use" search engines to locate campgrounds, RV dealers, RV rentals and RV manufacturers. All our search engines offer various ways to search for information. For example, campers can search for their next camping destination by location (i.e. province, region or city) or by location and camping preferences (services and recreation facilities offered). Our website also offers camping tips, checklists, camping forums, tourism information, camping classifieds and more.
Our main directory, our campground directory, currently includes information about more than two thousand Canadian campgrounds. As such, our website acts as a central repository of Canadian campgrounds information. In the internet world, such websites are known as portals and by getting your campground listed with us, you will increase your campground’s exposure to a world wide vacationing audience, at a minimal cost. |

Why should I have a listing for my campground? |

Because the more information you put about your business on the internet, the more chances you have of finding new customers. The internet is the most cost effective way to advertise your campground nationwide and even worldwide. For a fraction of the cost of running a magazine advertisement, you can advertise to millions of campers with a listing.
Over the last decade, internet usage has grown substantially and people are now using the internet for just about everything; product research, buying and selling stuff as well as making holiday reservations and travel arrangements. According to a recent study released by Statistics Canada, more than 10 million Canadian homes and 80% of Canadians (16 and over) use the Internet on a regular basis and according to Sympatico™, "camping" and "campgrounds" are two of the most popular search items during the summer months in Canada. |

How can I get my campground listed in Camping-Canada.Com? |

Camping-Canada.Com offers three types of listings; a "Free listing", a "Basic listing" and an "Enhanced" listing.

Our "Free listing" is our most basic form of listing where only very basic information about your campground (ie. your campground name, province, city, number of sites and phone number) is stored in our campground directory. "Free listings" are always showed last in campground search results.

Our
"Basic listing" is a multi-page listing that includes information such as campground and campsites description, facilities, rates, events as well as a feedback page. "Basic listings" are showed second in campground search results right after "Enhanced" listings and before "Free listings" in campground search results.

Our
"Enhanced listing" is a "Basic listing" plus the following features: online reservations, a photo album, a video album, a campground sitemap, a bulletin board, a trailer rental section, a cabin rental section and a printable camp-kit. "Enhanced listings" are always showed first in search results followed by "Basic listings" and then "Free listings". |

How much does it cost to list my campground? |

As mentioned above, you can choose between three different types of listings. Each type offers different options and stores varying amount of information about your campground..... and is priced accordingly.

Note that our listing fee is "all inclusive" (taxes included) and that you have the option to register / renew for 2 years.... at a 15% discount. Payments can be made online via PayPal™ or by credit card if you don't have a Paypal account. |

Do you offer a trial period for your listings? |

Yes! In order to give you a chance to become familiar with our listing options and all our maintenance tools, we offer a 30-day trial period for both our "Basic" and our "Enhanced" listings. You do not have to pay anything until your trial period is over. |

Do you have a refund policy? |

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds but we do offer a (free) 30-day trial period during which you can use all our maintenance tools and decide whether or not you want to continue with us. |

How soon can I start creating / updating my listing? |

As soon as we receive your "Basic listing request " or your "Enhanced listing request ", we will create and initialize your listing and e-mail you your own "Campground Id" and your "Password" that you can then use to "Sign-in " and start working on your listing. Normally, it takes between 24-48 hours before you can access your listing.
Please note that you can do your own listing updates whenever you want and as often as you want! Using our listing maintenance tools, YOU make your own listing changes. With Camping-Canada.Com, no need to call or e-mail anybody to request changes, you 're in charge of your listing! Please note that Camping-Canada.Com does not warrant nor verify your listing's information (please read our Disclaimer). |

Can I have photos in my listing? |

Yes! Both "Basic listings" and "Enhanced listings" can have photos. However, as explained here, "Enhanced listings" include more photos than "Basic listings". Furthermore, you can upload you photos yourself directly from your own computer using our "photo upload tool" built in our listing maintenance tools. However, if you prefer, you can also e-mail us your photos (or a link to your photos location on the internet) to "photos@camping-canada.com".
