As you may be aware, more than 10 million Canadian homes and 80% of Canadians 16 and over use the Internet on a regular basis and according to Sympatico™, "camping" and "campgrounds" are two of the most popular search items during the summer months. In the internet world, "camping-canada.com" is known as a portal or gateway to camping and campground information. Although you can build your own website with tools such as FrontPage, your website will likely not offer as much functionality as our listings (ex: bulletin board, reservations etc..) and the traffic (ie. visitors) to your website will not be anything like what we get (our website gets over one million hits per month). Just by getting a listing with us, you can start advertising your campground on a national and international scale for a fraction of the cost of running a magazine ad.

You will find below our four (4) types of listings. Each is shown with a short description followed by a comparison chart of what each listing type offers. Note that you can also view sample listings using the links at the bottom of the chart.

"Free listings"
Our "Free listing" is our most basic type of listing. Although it allows you to get your campground listed in camping-canada.com, only very basic information about your campground (ie. your campground location, number of sites and phone number) will be stored in our campground directory. The major drawbacks of "Free listings" are that (1) they show up last in campground searches (2) they don't include campground services and recreation facilities information icons and (3) they don't show up at all in "advanced" searches (searches by location and camping preferences). Finally, note that "Free listings" do not actually have a listing that can be updated like the other type of listings described below.

"Bronze listings"
With our "Bronze listing" option, you actually get a basic listing and you get access to our listing maintenance tools. These tools allow you to easily update your listing by entering your listing information in the forms provided. It's as simple as that! In a nutshell, our tools grab the information you enter on a form and automatically update your listing information in the background. No programming knowledge required, you just fill the form! You'll be able to update your listing as often as you want, "24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year". Note that since "Bronze listings" include recreation facilities & campground services information (and icons), they show up in both basic searches and advanced searches..... before "Free listings" but after "Silver listings" and "Gold listings". "Silver listings"
A "Silver listing" is basically a "Bronze listing" with a lot more campground information and more features such as a photo album, a "Camp-Kit", online reservations and more. Note that "Silver listings" show up before "Free listings" and "Bronze listings" but after "Gold listings" in campground search results. "Gold listings"
Our "Gold listing" is our premium listing. It includes all the bells and whistles. With a "Gold listing", you not only have a photo album but you can also have a video of your campground. You can have your own campground bulletin board and an events calendar. You can advertise rental units and take reservations. It's got it all!
